Syracuse, NY \u2013 La ex gerente de un hotel Cicero admiti\u00f3 hoy ante el tribunal haber robado m\u00e1s de $50,000 a su empleador durante un per\u00edodo de dos meses en 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cathaline Aylmer, de 40 a\u00f1os, de Utica, se declar\u00f3 culpable ante el juez del condado de Onondaga, Joseph Fahey, de un solo delito grave de hurto mayor en segundo grado. Ella admiti\u00f3 haber robado en el hotel Days Inn en Bartel Road en Cicero de junio a julio de 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como el caso se encaminaba pronto a juicio, la fiscal\u00eda lleg\u00f3 a un acuerdo en el que se ped\u00eda que Aylmer fuera sentenciado a cinco a\u00f1os de libertad condicional. Se le exigir\u00e1 que pague 48.811,53 d\u00f3lares en concepto de restituci\u00f3n. El asistente del fiscal de distrito Matthew Dotzler dijo que eso es para cubrir los robos que Aylmer cometi\u00f3 al tomar efectivo del hotel y al acumular gastos en la tarjeta de cr\u00e9dito corporativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tambi\u00e9n hab\u00eda sido acusada de robar suministros del hotel para intentar venderlos en Craigslist y eBay. Pero un coacusado, Brett M. Howard, es responsable de devolver alrededor de $12,000 en restituci\u00f3n para cubrir esos robos, explic\u00f3 Dotzler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Howard, de 33 a\u00f1os, tambi\u00e9n de Utica, se declar\u00f3 culpable el a\u00f1o pasado de hurto mayor en cuarto grado por robar suministros de restaurante y equipo de hotel en el plan de estafa. Las autoridades han dicho que es el novio de Aylmer. Aylmer ser\u00e1 sentenciado el 16 de julio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
