Elyssa C. Vernold
Criminal Law Paralegal

Elyssa is a paralegal in the Criminal Defense practice group. Elyssa assists with all aspects of the firm’s criminal defense law practice, including maintaining contact with clients and familiarity with the firm’s cases, as well as assisting with managing schedules. Elyssa uses her prior experience in customer service to provide a friendly and helpful voice to assist clients going through the challenging legal processes many of our clients face.

Elyssa completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Religion through Syracuse University and joined the team at CDH Law shortly after her graduation. She is currently enrolled at Herkimer College to advance her knowledge in Paralegal Studies.

Elyssa’s long-term goals include returning to her Alma Mater and pursuing her JD at Syracuse University College of Law. In her spare time, Elyssa is an avid animal advocate and spends as much time as she can with her dogs Mack, Nala, and Melvin, and her cat, Kitty. Elyssa is also a Broadway Musical fan and supports the local theater community every chance she gets. Elyssa’s future ambitions combined with her friendly and caring nature make her a perfect fit at CDH Law.
